Skiers and snowboarders are just a two-minute walk from Lift 7, so you can start your mountain adventure without the hassle of shuttles or parking. In summer, enjoy riverside picnics or hop on the Galloping Goose for a car-free town tour.
During summer 2025 (June 23–mid August), please note the pool and hot tub will be undergoing upgrades. But with Telluride’s vibrant river paths, nearby hiking trails, and charming Main Street just minutes away, there’s still plenty to explore!

A quick safety note: The property accommodates a maximum of 2 adults and is ideal for small families. Bunk beds and the sleeper sofa are best for kids or smaller adults, making this a cozy base after a day exploring Telluride’s great outdoors.

While the pool and hot tub are sometimes closed (see dates), the quiet riverside setting and easy access to Telluride’s trails offer a relaxing escape close to nature.

Please note: Construction is scheduled for summer-fall 2025, with some daytime noise and limited parking. We’re providing street parking permits as needed, and most town attractions are easily reached on foot or by free shuttle, so most guests find a car unnecessary thanks to walkability and shuttles.

Important Information
Construction and Maintenance Notices
- Viking Lodge HOA has a planned roof replacement for the adjacent building (A). Work will start April 15th 2025 - completion date November 14th 2025.
- There will be equipment and contractors visible around the property throughout the summer. Intermittent construction noise is anticipated.
- Town of Telluride municipal code requires construction noise is limited to the hours of 8am-6pm M-F & 9am-6pm on Saturday.
- In May 2025, the HOA voted to approve a pool/hot tub improvement project to commence work on June 23. Work is scheduled to last seven to eight weeks. The pool and hot tub will not be available during this time.
- Lodging In Telluride does not manage pool/hot tub closures, cleanings or maintenance. Refunds for closures during your stay are not provided.
Occupancy and Guest Policies
- Maximum occupancy: 5 guests (maximum 2 adults).
- Minimum age for primary renter: 25 years.
- Children allowed.
